FAILURE TO APPEAR – BERNETTA BEE PENNISON

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Eric L. Wiggins, 56, of 1285 Highway 662, Morgan City, La. and Bernetta Bee Pennison, 51, of 1098 Highway 662, Morgan City, La., following a disturbance investigation in Bayou L’Ourse, La.

Deputies were dispatched to the 1285 Highway 662 address late Saturday in connection with a fight and a disturbance.

During the course of the investigation, deputies determined that the two parties related to the disturbance call were wanted on unrelated charges.

Eric L. Wiggins was determined to be wanted as a fugitive parole violator out of the State of Texas.

It was further determined that Bernetta Bee Pennison was wanted on a charge of:

* Failure to Appear in Assumption Parish

Her bond was set at $439.00, cash only. She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center.

Eric L. Wiggins was incarcerated without bond and authorities will begin extradition proceedings to return Wiggins to the State of Texas.
