FUGITIVE WARRANT – CITY OF THIBODAUX

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Courtney LaCorey Wiggins, 26, of 118 N. Wildwood Road, Napoleonville, LA, on a fugitive warrant from the City of Thibodaux.

On Wednesday evening, deputies responded to a complaint of two individuals walking on Pelican Street in Labadieville and both were armed. When deputies arrived, dispatch advised them that one of the subjects reportedly left in a gold car. That vehicle was located and deputies pursued it to Violet Street at which time the suspect fled on foot.

Courtney LaCorey Wiggins was found hiding in a shed near Violet Street. Courtney LaCorey Wiggins was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive Warrant for the City of Thibodaux

Courtney LaCorey Wiggins was transferred to the City of Thibodaux to answer the charges in that jurisdiction.

The second individual connected to the suspect vehicle remains at large.
