FUGITIVE WARRANT – SIMPLE BURGLARY – I.C.E. ARREST

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Steven James Morris, 37, of 115 Doris Street, Morgan City, LA, on a felony fugitive warrant from St. Mary Parish.

On Friday, deputies assigned to the I.C.E. detail learned of the whereabouts of Steven James Morris and were aware of the existence of a warrant for Morris’ arrest.

Information indicated that Steven James Morris was at the time hiding in a horse trailer on Velma Court.

Deputies arrived at Velma Court and did indeed locate Steven James Morris in the aforementioned horse trailer.

Steven James Morris was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive Warrant St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for Simple Burglary

Steven James Morris was transferred to the custody of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
