BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gregory S. Donseroaux, 62, of 110 Peterville Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on charges related to a stabbing incident on Monday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to the Peterville Lane area and upon arrival, determined that a male subject had sustained multiple stab wounds to the abdominal area.

Through interviewing a number of individuals, detectives were able to identify Gregory S. Donseroaux as a suspect.

The incident was a result of a disagreement between the victim and Donseroaux at which time Donseroaux is alleged to have stabbed the victim.

Donseroaux was taken into custody on Monday in Klotzville, transported and taken in CID for questioning and subsequently arrested.

The victim was air lifted to a Baton Rouge Hospital and remains in serious condition. The victim is 42 years old.

Donseroaux was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Aggravated Second Degree Battery

Donseroaux remains incarcerated in lieu of $75,000 bond.
