HEART OF LAW-ENFORCEMENT AWARD – LT. ERICK TAYLOR, CAPTAIN VARRICK TAYLOR
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is pleased to announce that Lt. Erick Taylor of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and Captain Varrick Taylor of the Thibodaux Police Department were both awarded the “Heart of Law Enforcement”, honors during a ceremony in Baton Rouge on Tuesday.
Lt. Erick Taylor and Captain Varrick Taylor are brothers.
The award is presented annually by the organization, “Beyond the Badge”, and recognizes officers nominated by the pubic or their agencies for their acts of kindness and community service.
The mission of, “Beyond the Badge”, is to educate the public about ordinary law enforcement officers performing extraordinary acts of kindness in their communities throughout Louisiana.
