HOME INVASION – JESSIE T. ROBERTSON, II
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jessie T. Robertson, II, 43, of 132 College Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident on November 12, 2022, near Labadieville, LA.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to the 100 block of Michelle Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that she had previously been in a relationship with Jessie T. Robertson, II. On November 12, 2022, she alleges that Jessie T. Robertson, II went to her home and began banging on the door. At some point, Robertson allegedly forced the door open and entered. A physical altercation ensued at which time Robertson allegedly struck the complainant causing noticeable injuries.
Deputies were unable to locate Robertson at the time but did file criminal charges against him.
Jessie T. Robertson, II was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Battery of a Dating Partner
*Home Invasion
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
Additionally, Jessie T. Robertson, II was involved in a pursuit situation with deputies on May 15, 2023. Deputies stopped Robertson for a traffic violation and at some point, Robertson fled on foot and evaded capture. Deputies seized marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia from the vehicle Robertson was driving. At the time of the arrest on May 17, 2023, Robertson was booked on the following charges related to the pursuit.
*Maximum Speed Limit
*Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Driver’s License
*Proper Equipment Required on Vehicles
*Resisting an Officer
*Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)
*Possession or Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia
Jessie T. Robertson, II remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
