IDENTIFY THEFT, BANK FRAUD, MONETARY INSTRUMENT ABUSE – KYNESHA SAMANTHA MCDANIEL
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kynesha Samantha McDaniel, 27, of 781 Buttermilk Drive, Nesbit, Mississippi, on felony financial crimes charges arising from an investigation dating back to July 19, 2023.
On the aforementioned date, detectives initiated an investigation after receiving a complaint from a local business. The complainant advised that the company had made payment by check in the amount of $5,493.79 to a vendor and that company never received that payment. Detectives were able to determine that the check had been intercepted, altered, and deposited into an account in the name of Kynesha Samantha McDaniel.
Detectives issued arrest warrants for Kynesha Samantha McDaniel. The suspect was arrested by the Southaven, Mississippi Police Department and transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on April 30, 2025.
Kynesha Samantha McDaniel was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on April 30, 2025, on charges of:
*Identity Theft
*Bank Fraud
*Monetary Instrument Abuse
Kynesha Samantha McDaniel remains incarcerated with bond set at $115,000.
