ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN THINGS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marvin Willoughby, 24, of 345 Highway 400, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges originating within the City of Thibodaux.

On June 19, 2021, Sheriff’s deputies were requested by Thibodaux City Police to assist in locating a stolen dirt bike believed to be near Napoleonville.

Detectives located the dirt bike and found that property to illegally be in the possession of Marvin Willoughby.

In the process of investigating this matter, detectives learned that Marvin Willoughby had obtained the dirt bike through illegal activity.

On Saturday, the dirt bike was recovered and Marvin Willoughby was taken into custody.

Willoughby was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:

*Illegal Possession of Stolen Things (Felony)

Marvin Willoughby remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Upon release from Assumption Parish, Marvin Willoughby is wanted by the Thibodaux Police Department on charges of:

*Felony Theft
*Monetary Instrument Abuse
