ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN THINGS
RONTAJ DONTRELL KELSON

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rontaj Dontrell Kelson, 19, of 137 Violet Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges after he was found to be operating a motor vehicle that had been reported stolen in the Lake Charles area.

On Tuesday morning, deputies were provided information from the Lake Charles Police Department indicating that a vehicle stolen from that area had been tracked to Assumption Parish.

Deputies located the vehicle on Violet Street in Labadieville, and it was being driven by Rontaj Dontrell Kelson. Deputies confirmed that the vehicle was one and the same that had been reported stolen.

Rontaj Dontrell Kelson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

Rontaj Dontrell Kelson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
