ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN THINGS (AUTOMOBILE)
PATRICK DEWAYNE LEWIS, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Patrick Dewayne Lewis, Jr., 22, of 816 Church Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident which occurred on January 15, 2025 near Belle Rose.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a residence in the 300 block of LA 998 in reference to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, deputies and detectives initiated an investigation and, in the process, determined that Patrick Dewayne Lewis, Jr. had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to a foot. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
As the investigation continued, investigators learned that a 2018 Audi (automobile) that was part of the investigation had been reported stolen from the Baton Rouge area.
As a result of the investigation, detectives secured an arrest warrant charging Patrick Dewayne Lewis, Jr. with Illegal Possession of Stolen Things. (2018 Audi)
Patrick Dewayne Lewis, Jr., was arrested by the Gonzales Police Department on March 02, 2025. Lewis was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on March 20, 2025. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
Patrick Dewayne Lewis, Jr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
