ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN THINGS VALUED AT $20,000

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jules Anthony Joiner, 23, of 110 La Chene Street, Belle River, LA, on felony charges following a disturbance call late Friday night.
Deputies responded to a disturbance complaint near Teddy Street in Belle River. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that Joiner had been engaged in a domestic disturbance but had left the area.
Deputies located Jules Anthony Joiner at his residence. At some point, deputies learned that warrants had been issued for Joiner’s arrest relative to another related domestic disturbance incident in St. Mary Parish as well as the theft of an automobile.
Deputies determined that Joiner was in possession of the stolen vehicle and arrested him. Joiner was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Illegal Possession of Stolen Things Valued at $20,000
*Aggravated Domestic Abuse Battery (Hold St. Mary Parish)
Jules Anthony Joiner was released on a $5,000 bond.
