ILLEGAL USE OF WEAPONS OR DANGEROUS INSTRUMENTALITIES

GLENN P. ARCEMENT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Glenn P. Arcement, 66, of 109 Cedar Street, Labadieville, LA, on firearms charges related to a May 8, 2019 incident near Lake Verret.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a disturbance complaint accompanied by gunfire.

Detectives initiated an investigation and determined that the incident had occurred on a nearby waterway.

During the investigative process, Glenn P. Arcement was identified as a potential suspect. It is alleged that during the confrontation with another individual, Arcement illegally discharged a firearm.

Based on the results of the investigation, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Arcement.

On Wednesday, Glenn P. Arcement was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Illegal Use of a Firearm or Dangerous Instrumentalities

Glenn P. Arcement was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
