INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH A JUVENILE – JAKHYRI CARBIN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jakhyri Carbin, 19, 211 Canary Street, Morgan City, LA in reference to a complaint of indecent behavior with juveniles.

On September 5, 2021, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Bayou L’Ourse, LA, in reference to an indecent behavior with juveniles ‘complaint.

Through investigation, detectives identified Jakhyri Carbin, as a suspect in the matter. Carbin is accused of sending unsolicited explicit photographs to a juvenile female via social media.

As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to secure an arrest warrant on March 9, 2022, charging Carbin with one count of:

*Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

Carbin was arrested on the same date with the assistance of Morgan City Police Department.

Carbin has since been transferred into the custody of the Assumption Parish Detention Center, where he remains incarcerated with bond set at $200,000.
