INTIMIDATING, IMPEDING, OR INJURING – WITNESSES / OFFICERS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest Ashleigh Riad Keller, 4, of 19429 Mimosa Street, Vacherie, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident that occurred on or about November 18, 2021.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a complaint near the parish courthouse in which a potential witness in a criminal matter was being threatened and / or intimated to withdraw and / or dismiss charges filed.

The matter was determined to have been domestic in nature.

While speaking to Keller, the deputy noted that the suspect had made specific threats toward the deputy.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the deputy secured an arrest warrant for Ashleigh Riad Keller.

On Wednesday, Ashleigh Riad Keller was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Intimidating, Impeding or Injuring Witnesses / Officers

Ashleigh Riad Keller remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
