Line of Duty Officer Killed and One Critically Injured in Iberville Parish

On behalf of the entire Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Leland Falcon extends our deepest condolences and offer prayers to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office and to the family of the deputy who was tragically killed in the line of duty last night during an incident in Plaquemine.

We offer our prayers for the recovery of a second deputy who was critically wounded during the incident. We ask all resident’s of Assumption Parish to keep our injured fellow officers in your prayers as well. May they find peace at this difficult time.🙏🙏🙏
