LOUISIANA SHERIFF’S ASSOCIATION BOB BUCKLEY AWARD
RECIPIENT – LIEUTENANT REID ANDRAS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon and the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association presented Lieutenant Reid Andras with the Bob Buckley Award for critical injury or death that occurred while in the course and scope of his official duties as an Assumption Parish Sheriff’s deputy.

Lieutenant Andras was seriously injured on March 13, 2021, after being struck by a vehicle near LA 398 and LA 1010 west of Labadieville.

Lieutenant Andras had conducted a traffic stop on the eastbound shoulder when a westbound vehicle crossed completely over and across the eastbound lane striking him.

Lieutenant Andras was treated for his injuries and we are happy to report that he is back at work,
