MAJOR NARCOTICS – CASH SEIZURE – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Timothy Lorenzo Sullivan, 33, of 6671 Highway 308, Belle Rose and Joseph M. Brown, 32, of 929 Elizabeth Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on multiple drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at the aforementioned LA 308 Address.
As part of a collaborative effort between State Police and the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, agents working a continuing narcotics investigation identified Timothy Lorenzo Sullivan and Joseph M. Brown as being involved in major drug activity.
As a result of that investigation, agents applied for and were granted a search warrant for the home located at 6671 Highway 308. On Thursday afternoon, agents converged on the home and did execute the search warrant seizing 24.6 pounds of meth-amphetamine, a substantial quantity of Oxycodone, liquid codeine, marijuana and $26,312 in U.S. currency.
As a result of this investigation, Timothy Lorenzo Sullivan was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Codeine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Marijuana
Joseph M. Brown was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Codeine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Marijuana
The street value of the meth-amphetamine is estimated at nearly $500,000.
