MARINE CORPS LEAGUE DEPUTY OF THE YEAR

NAPOLEONVILLE – The Marine Corps League, St. Mary Department, presented the “Deputy of the Year” award on Tuesday evening to Assumption Parish Deputy Adam Mayon. Adam has served part time/ full time as a uniform patrol deputy for 14 years.
“Deputy Adam Mayon has served the residents of Assumption Parish with dedication, loyalty, and courage during his tenure as a deputy sheriff in the uniformed division. Deputy Mayon has displayed professionalism in dealing with our elderly residents and has been a vital asset to the public safety interests of our communities. I want to thank Deputy Mayon for his efforts and congratulate him on the most deserved award,” Sheriff Leland Falcon said.
Deputy Mayon was presented the award at a banquet held at the American Legion Hall in Patterson.
