MISDEMEANOR THEFT, DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS, FUGITIVE WARRANT

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Felicia Jones Brister, 53, of 1835 Calfrun Court, Lot 17, Shriever, LA, on felony theft and drug charges stemming from a complaint on Wednesday afternoon in Labadieville.

Deputies responded to the complaint related to a female subject seen riding a bicycle that had been stolen earlier

Deputies eventually located the bicycle as well as the suspect, now identified as Felicia Jones Brister in the 2500 Block of LA 1 in Labadieville, LA.

During the course of the investigation, Brister was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was found to be wanted on a fugitive warrant from another jurisdiction.

Felicia Jones Brister was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Misdemeanor Theft
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Fugitive Warrant

Felicia Jones Brister is being held on a $12,500 bond.
