MULTIPLE ARREST WARRANTS – PROBATION / PAROLE VIOLATION JAMES CASEY AUCOIN
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of James Casey Aucoin, 43, of 155 Felicia Street., Bayou L’Ourse, La., on a warrant charging him with a probation / parole violation.
James Casey Aucoin was convicted of the crime of Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling in Assumption Parish on June 26,2026. As a result of that conviction, James Casey Aucoin was placed on supervised probation for a term of two years and ordered to comply with specific conditions during the probationary period.
Aucoin violated the terms of the probation resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on June 29,2026.
On July 10,2026, deputies attempted to arrest James Casey Aucoin at his residence at 155 Felicia Street in Bayou L’Ourse. As deputies approached Aucoin, he fled on foot running into a wooded area. Deputies secured an arrest warrant charging James Casey Aucoin with resisting an officer.
On July 12,2026, deputies spotted James Casey Aucoin on Elaine Street. As deputies approached, James Casey Aucoin fled into the woods. Pursuing deputies were able to capture Aucoin.
James Casey Aucoin was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Probation / Parole Violation
*Resisting an Officer – Warrant July 10,2026
*Resisting an Officer – July 12,2026 – (4) Counts
*Failure to Appear in Court on May 26,2026 on a Count of:
*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling.

James Casey Aucoin was ordered held without bond on the probation / parole warrant and awaits a bond hearing on the remaining charges.
