MULTIPLE DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Leroyal Sentel Lanus, 34, and Mikayla Ann Chronister, 26, both of 125 Grissaffe Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on multiple drug law violations following the execution of a search warrant at the aforementioned address on Tuesday.
Narcotics agents investigating illegal drug activity in Assumption Parish developed information indicating that Leroyal Sentel Lanus and Mikayla Ann Chronister were involved in the large-scale trafficking of illegal narcotics.
Agents developed probable cause sufficient to obtain a search warrant for the residence at 125 Grissaffe Lane in Belle Rose.
On Tuesday, agents and uniformed patrol officers converged on the home to execute the search warrant. During the search process, agents located and seized a large amount and variety of controlled dangerous substances as well as U.S. currency.
Leroyal Sentel Lanus and Mikayla Ann Chronister were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Amphetamines
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Suboxone
*Possession of Xanax (Alprazolam)
*Possession of Cocaine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Leroyal Sentel Lanus and Mikayla Ann Chronister remains incarcerated pending bond hearings.
