MULTIPLE FAILURE TO APPEAR WARRANTS
KYREN JAMES SMITH

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kyren James Smith, 26, of 115 Fertitta Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple warrants accusing him of Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish.

Kyren James Smith was previously arrested in Assumption Parish and was subsequently ordered to appear in court to answer to those charges. Smith was ordered to appear on May 2, 2022 and failed to do so. Warrants were issued for his arrest on May 4, 2022.

Kyren James Smith was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on October 21, 2022 on charges as follows:

*Failure to Appear – Illegal Carrying of Weapons and Possession of a Schedule I Drug
*Failure to Appear – Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Failure to Appear – Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Failure to Appear – Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Failure to Appear – Possession of a Schedule II Drug

Kyren James Smith was ordered held without bond pending new court filings.
