MULTIPLE FUGITIVE ARRESTS

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Frankie Paige Stevenson, 18, of 305 Fritz Swanson Road, Kilgore, Texas and Aaron John Woods, 26, of 6750 FM 1857, Rusk, Texas on fugitive warrants out of the State of Texas following an investigation in Bayou L’Ourse, LA.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to a complaint of a suspicious couple walking near LA 662 and Cecelia Street. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two individuals, a female identified as Frankie Paige Stevenson and a male, identified as Aaron John Woods. Neither subject had any forms of identification but did provide their names which were able to be confirmed.

During the course of investigating the matter, a warning was broadcast to deputies to proceed with caution due to subjects possibly being burglary suspects out of Lafourche Parish. Both suspects were arrested. Investigating deputies were able to make some connection to the Lafourche Parish burglary through the suspects.

Aaron John Woods was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on felony fugitive warrants out of Rusk, Texas.

Frankie Paige Stevenson was transported to the detective bureau at which time she became physical and caused damages to assorted equipment.

Frankie Paige Stevenson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center for criminal damage to property as well as felony fugitive warrants out of Kilgore, Texas.

The burglary remains under investigation by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Both remain incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
