NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION, SEARCH WARRANT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cody Davon Nelson, 36, of 704A Jefferson Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from an ongoing narcotics investigation.
During that investigation, agents determined that Cody Davon Nelson was engaging in the illegal sale of controlled dangerous substances near Napoleonville.
As part of that investigation, agents secured probable cause for a search warrant for the property located at 704A Jefferson Street in Napoleonville.
On Tuesday afternoon, deputies and agents executed the search warrant and did seize marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Cody Davon Nelson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Cody Davon Nelson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
