NON-CONSENSUAL DISCLOSURE OF A PRIVATE IMAGE

BAYOU L’OURSE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Yosbin Carranza, age 29, of 153 Rayne Court, Morgan City, LA, on felony charges related to the non-consensual disclosure of a private image following an investigation in the Bayou L’Ourse area.

On October 27, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Vivian Street in connection with the aforementioned crime.

Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that a former domestic partner now identified as Yosbin Carranza posted private images not intended for publication to a social media app which can be accessed by the general public. Additionally, there is a protective order in effect against Mr. Carranza.

At the conclusion of the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of Yosbin Carranza.

Yosbin Carranza was arrested on November 2, 2024, by the Morgan City Police Department on the Assumption Parish warrants.

Yosbin Carranza was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on November 6, 2024, and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Non-Consensual Disclosure of a Private Image (2 Counts)
*Violation of Protective Orders
*Detainer – Department of Homeland Security – I.C.E.

Yosbin Carranza remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
