NONCONSENSUAL DISCLOSURE OF A PRIVATE IMAGE

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ahkayla Mona Holmes, 27, of 1300 Laban Avenue # 72, Houma, La., on felony charges arising from an incident reported on May 14,2026.

Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Violet Street near Labadieville and made contact with the complainant. Deputies were advised that the complainant became aware that particular images of himself were being posted to a social media site. Those images were born of the relationship between the complainant and a former domestic partner now identified as Ahkayla Mona Holmes and those images were not intended for public dissemination. Additionally, deputies viewed multiple messages in which the suspect Ahkayla Mona Holmes attempted to obtain something of value from the victim in exchange for removing the photos from social media.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies obtained arrest warrants for Ahkayla Mona Holmes.

On May 22,2026, Ahkayla Mona Holmes was arrested by the Houma Police Department. Holmes was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 27,2026.

Ahkayla Mona Holmes was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Nonconsensual Disclosure of a Private Image
*Telephone Harassment

Ahkayla Mona Holmes remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
