OFF ROAD VEHICLE – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT
CALEB JESSIE WADE – I.C.E. ARREST

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Caleb Jessie Wade, 26, of 1301 Highway 402, Paincourtville, LA, on felony aggravated flight charges arising from a traffic incident near Highway 308 and LA 70 Spur in Plattenville, LA.

A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. Detail observed an off-road vehicle on a public roadway and traveling against the flow of traffic. The suspect sped off in the opposite direction and eventually into the cane field.

The deputy re-located to the area of Jolimar Street and Crossover Road. The deputy was able to visually observe the violator and gave chase.

The chase was successfully terminated. The driver, now identified as Caleb Jessie Wade was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Operating an Off-Road Vehicle on a Public Roadway
*Resisting an Officer
*Reckless Operation of an Off-Road Vehicle

Caleb Jessie Wade was incarcerated and released on a $5,500 bond.
