OPERATION, “TAKE A RIDE”
DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS, DISTRIBUTION – SHANNON BIAS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Shannon Bias, 29, of 506 Franklin Street, Napoleonville, La., on felony drug distribution charges arising out of operation, “Take a Ride”.

As part of a parish wide ongoing illegal narcotics investigation, agents were able to identify Shannon Bias as participating in illegal narcotics trafficking in the Assumption Parish area.

As a result of that investigation, agents secured probable cause to obtain arrest warrants for Shannon Bias.

On Monday afternoon, Shannon Bias was arrested in Napoleonville and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Distribution of Marijuana
*Distribution of Meth-Amphetamine

Shannon Bias remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
