GABRIEL TALBOT
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gabriel Talbot, 46, of 136 Bertie Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony gun law violations following an investigative stop on Hardtimes Road.
Upon interviewing the vehicle’s lone occupant, he was identified as Gabriel Talbot. After running a license plate inquiry, it was determined that the Tennessee license plate was not the proper plate for that vehicle.
Deputies noted that Gabriel Talbot appeared to be nervous. As a protective measure, detectives requested permission to search the vehicle which Gabriel Talbot granted.
The vehicle was searched and that process yielded a large caliber handgun. Detectives were informed by the Communications Division that Gabriel Talbot was a convicted felon.
Talbot was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Switched License Plate
Talbot was incarcerated and later posted bond.
