Re: New Year Holiday Schedule: The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s main annex and all substations will close at 4:00 P.M. today, 12-30-2025 in observance of the New Year holiday and will re-open at 8:00 A.M. on Monday, January 5, 2026.

If you have a complaint and need to speak to a deputy, please dial 985-369-2912. If you have an emergency, please dial 911.

The Assumption Parish Detention Facility remains open 24/7. As a reminder, property taxes are due by midnight December 31, 2025.

You can still pay your property taxes by depositing your payment in the drop box at the main annex at 112 Franklin St. in Napoleonville. No cash please. You can also submit property tax payments online at www.assumptionsheriff.com.
