Public Service Announcement: On this coming Saturday, April 25, 2026, The Assumption High School Alumni picnic is being held at the Dorseyville Recreation Park on La.70 east of Paincourtville.This will be an all day event and will draw large crowds of people thus creating some traffic issues. The event is scheduled to conclude at 6:00 P. M. We expect heavy traffic congestion at the events conclusion. We urge the motoring public to avoid the area if at all possible. If you choose to travel through the area, please expect intermittent traffic delays due to heavy congestion.
