REPORTED DRIVE – BY SHOOTING – CALVIN T. JOHNSON
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Calvin T. Johnson, 29, of 3372 Back Marais Road, Napoleonville, LA on felony charges arising from a July 26, 2021, reported shooting at a location off of LA 400 south of Napoleonville LA.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to a reported shooting incident and upon arrival made contact with an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound.
Detectives initiated an investigation and determined that Calvin T. Johnson fired shots at an individual who was sitting in his car. The person returned gunfire striking Calvin Johnson.
At the conclusion of the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of Calvin T. Johnson. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Thursday on charges of:
*Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
*Illegal Use of Weapon or Dangerous Instrumentalities
*Aggravated Battery
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Calvin T. Johnson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
