RESISTING ARREST – THREATS – JEREMY WILLIAMS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Williams, 36, of 101 Bayou Oaks, Donaldsonville, LA, due to verbal threats made upon a peace officer.
On March 14, 2022, a uniformed patrol deputy was walking in the area of the Assumption Parish Courthouse when he heard verbal threats being made. The deputy continued on his way but the suspect, now identified as Jeremy Williams, continued threats and gestures upon the officer.
Jeremy Williams was advised of his violation, was arrested and taken to the Assumption Parish Detention Center. Williams was booked on charges of:
*Public Intimidation (Threats)(Felony)
*Resisting an Officer
Jeremy Williams was released on a $10,000 bond.
