SEARCH WARRANT / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kelly Tremaine Gray, 32, of 173 Violet Street, LA, on charges related to an ongoing narcotics investigation.

As part of a parish wide effort to curb drug activity, agents working near Labadieville received information that Kelly Tremaine Gray was involved in illegal drug activity. Agents focused their investigation at an apartment complex in the area.

During that investigation, agents established probable cause to secure a search warrant for a residence.

On Tuesday evening, deputies and agents converged on the complex and executed the warrant.

During that process agents seized a significant quantity of cocaine and marijuana.

Kelly Tremaine Gray was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Kelly Tremaine Gray remains incarcerated in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
