SEARCH WARRANT / NARCOTICS ARRESTS

NAPOLEONVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Nancy L. Beneditto, 36, of Bertie Street, Napoleonville, LA and Travis Santell Franklin, 42, of 7521A Highway 1, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony charges arising from the execution of a search warrant at 119 Bertie Street.
As part of an ongoing parish wide narcotics investigation, narcotics agents determined that Nancy L. Beneditto and Travis Santell Franklin were involved in illegal drug activity in Assumption Parish.
As this investigation matured, agents established probable cause to secure a search warrant for property located at 119 Bertie Street.
On Tuesday afternoon agents and uniformed patrol deputies converged on the location and after securing the premises, did conduct the court ordered search.
That process resulted in the seizure of a variety of controlled dangerous substances, assorted paraphernalia and a significant amount of U.S. currency.
Nancy L. Beneditto and Travis Santell Franklin were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Adderall
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Hydrocodone
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
* Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Additionally, Michael R. North, 64, of 33054 Highway 943 South, Donaldsonville, LA, was issued a misdemeanor summons for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released.
Nancy L. Beneditto and Travis Santell Franklin remain incarcerated pending bond hearings.
