SECOND DEGREE BATTERY – JUSTIN PAUL GASPARD

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Justin Paul Gaspard, 19, of 113 Coon Road, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident which occurred in Paincourtville on February 22, 2026.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to a residence in Paincourtville in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant / victim who advised that he and an individual now identified as Justin Paul Gaspard went to a local establishment and upon returning to the residence in Paincourtville, the two argued and at one point, Justin Paul Gaspard began beating the victim with closed fists.

Upon interviewing the victim, the deputy observed a laceration to his face requiring medical attention.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the deputy secured an arrest warrant for Justin Paul Gaspard.

On Saturday, deputies located Justin Paul Gaspard at his residence on Coon Road in Pierre Part.

Justin Paul Gaspard was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Second Degree Battery

Justin Paul Gaspard remains incarcerated with bond set at $25,000.
