SECOND DEGREE BATTERY – I.C.E. ARREST
DALTON GAGE ANDRAS
AMELIA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dalton Gage Andras, 25, of 160 Bayou Boeuf Road, Amelia, LA on felony battery charges arising from an incident in Amelia on Wednesday evening.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Bayou Boeuf Road in connection with a disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that earlier in the evening, Dalton Gage Andras allegedly threw a cup in his yard. The complainant went to the home of Dalton Gage Andras to speak to him. The complainant then returned to his home and a short time later, Dalton Gage Andras drove up on a four wheeler and confronted him. An altercation occurred between Dalton Gage Andras and the complainant. Dalton Gage Andras allegedly struck the complainant in the face resulting in injury and momentary lapse of consciousness by the complainant. Dalton Gage Andras then left the area.
Investigating deputies noted obvious signs of injury to the complainant. At the conclusion, deputies established probable cause to arrest Dalton Gage Andras.
Deputies located the suspect and arrested him.
Dalton Gage Andras was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:
*Second Degree Battery (Felony)
Dalton Gage Andras has posted a $100,000 commercial bond.
