SEX OFFENDER REGISTERATION VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Curtis Campbell Westley, 59, of 363 Highway 400, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges related to sex offender registration arising from a conviction for the crime of rape. That conviction occurred on December 20, 2006, in Assumption Parish.

As a result of that conviction, Curtis Campbell Westley is required to continuously register as a child predator / sex offender.

Curtis Campbell Westley violated the terms of registering as a sex offender resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

Curtis Campbell Westley was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in Napoleonville and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Register and Notify as a Convicted Child Predator / Sex Offender

Curtis Campbell Westley remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
