SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION VIOLATION – CHAD A. FALCON

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Chad A. Falcon, 55, of 6951 Highway 996, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges accusing him of failing to register as a sex offender.

On or about December 9, 2021, the Sheriff’s Detective Division conducted random sex offender compliance checks. Upon doing so detectives determined that while Chad A. Falcon provided the aforementioned address as his place of residency, he had vacated that residence and moved to a location in Ascension Parish and had not taken appropriate steps to register again. The location Falcon was living was near a school.

Chad A. Falcon was previously convicted of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile in 2000 and was released from incarceration in 2012.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Chad A. Falcon. He was arrested in Ascension Parish on December 29, 2021. Falcon was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Wednesday and booked on charges of:

*Failure to Register as a Sex Offender or Child Predator

Chad A. Falcon remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
