SEX OFFENDER – REGISTRATION VIOLATION – JEREMY PAUL JORDAN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Paul Jordan, 43, of 396 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges of failing to register as a sex offender.
As part of the sex offender registration process, detectives conducted an unscheduled compliance check to confirm that Jeremy Paul Jordan was residing at the address he provided. When detectives attempted to confirm his registered address of residency, they determined that he was not residing at that location.
Jeremy Paul Jordan is a convicted sex offender and was also wanted by the State of Florida for sex offender registration violations there.
A warrant charging Jeremy Paul Jordan with violation of the sex offender registration process was issued resulting in his arrest in Lafourche Parish.
Jeremy Paul Jordan was returned to Assumption Parish and booked into the detention center on Monday on charges of:
*Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender
Jeremy Paul Jordan remains incarcerated with bond set at $25,000.
