SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION VIOLATION-
RICARDO QUINONEZ, JR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ricardo Quinonez, Jr., 29, of 138 Frank Lane, Belle Rose, La., on a warrant charging him with felony sex offender registration violations.

On or about August 12, 2026, sheriff’s detectives in Assumption Parish were contacted by detectives from the Baytown, Texas Police Department who indicated that Ricardo Quinonez, Jr. had relocated his residency to Assumption Parish and had failed to register as a convicted sex offender within the time limits required by law.

On Wednesday evening, Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Detectives accompanied Ascension Parish Deputies to a location near Donaldsonville at which time Ricardo Quinonez, Jr. was arrested, transported to the Ascension Parish Jail, and booked as a fugitive. Ricardo Quinonez, Jr. was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on warrants charging him with:
*Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender

Ricardo Quinonez, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
