SHERIFF FALCON’S 2024 SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP
CONCLUDES PHASE ONE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Sheriff Leland Falcon’s 2024 Summer Basketball Camp concluded this past Thursday and once again was a successful program which catered to 176 youngsters.
Sheriff Falcon has headed up the annual basketball camp since he assumed office. The only interruption came for the COVID period but was able to resume and is still going strong.
“The summer basketball and volleyball camps allow kids to participate in a productive manner, learning the skills of each program while receiving valuable life’s lessons from the countless volunteers who donate their time and efforts to the sporting programs”, Falcon said.
Sheriff Falcon expresses his appreciation to the employees of the Sheriff’s Office as well as the volunteer community members for their participation.
Sheriff Falcon thanks the Assumption Parish School Board for use of its facilities at the Napoleonville Middle School each year.
Sheriff Falcon’s phase two basketball program gets underway at Pierre Part Elementary School on July 8, 2024, and phase three volleyball camp gets underway July 8, 2024, at the Assumption Parish Community Center on Hwy. 308.
