SHERIFF THANKS PUBLIC, LAW ENFORCEMENT, PARISH AGENCIES FOR COLD WEATHER RESPONSE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon expresses a huge THANK YOU to parish agencies including the Assumption Parish Police Jury and OEP, Assumption Parish Waterworks District No. 1, the Assumption Parish Council on Aging, Assumption Parish School Board, the LA DOTD, and all of the men and women of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office who worked tirelessly since last weekend in dealing with the bitterly cold spell.
“These agencies worked 24/7 to keep our facilities and our roadways operable and to make sure our elderly and school children were kept from the weather elements. When an event such as this occurs, it takes a lot of people working around the clock together to be successful, “Falcon said. “Because of all these agencies, and individuals, our roads are being maintained, our water supply is being kept safe and is being replenished and all of our public agencies are responding to the needs of our public citizenry.
Our patrol deputies, dispatchers and correctional officers have been tending to the parish needs, sacrificing time from their families, “Falcon said.
A Big Thank You for their time and equipment also going out to:
Jamie Ponville Carter Pourciau
Jessie Ponville Jason Campo
Blaine Mabile Jason Landry
Russ Mabile Travis Ponville
Donny Landry Nick Metrejean
Dale Blanchard Thane Templet
In the event we missed anyone, we appreciate all efforts by persons who assisted in our time of need.
