SIMPLE BURGLARY – DWAYNE RENE THOMAS, JR.
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dwayne Rene Thomas, Jr., 36, of 153 Peterville Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from a mobile burglary.
On Wednesday morning, deputies responded to a complaint of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Peterville Lane near Belle Rose.
Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that her mobile home had been burglarized possibly on Monday or Tuesday.
Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to identify Dwayne Rene Thomas, Jr. as a suspect.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Detectives secured warrants for the arrest of Dwayne Rene Thomas, Jr.
On Wednesday afternoon, Dwayne Rene Thomas, Jr., was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:
*Simple Burglary
Dwayne Rene Thomas, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
