SIMPLE BURGLARY, FELONY THEFT – MARLON MOLLERE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marlon Mollere, 41, of 183 Ewell St., Paincourtville, La., on multiple felony charges arising from a burglary investigation originating on May 7, 2026.
Deputies responded to a complaint of a burglary of a residence in the 100 block of Ewell Street. Deputies made contact with the complainant’s who indicated unknown individual (s) made forced entry into the home and stole goods valued between $1,000 to $5,000.
Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to secure electronic surveillance evidence related to the crime.
As the investigation progressed, detectives identified Marlon Mollere as a suspect.
Warrants were obtained for the arrest of Marlon Mollere.
Deputies arrested Marlon Mollere near Paincourtville on Thursday and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Simple Burglary
*Felony Theft
*Fugitive – Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Theft – $1,000 to $5,000
*Detainer – Department of Corrections – Probation / Parole
Marlon Mollere remains incarcerated with bond set at $100,000 on Assumption Parish charges of theft and simple burglary and was ordered held without bond on the probation detainer.
