SIMPLE BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, FELONY THEFT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Carlin Lewis, 36, of 1120 Narrow Street, Thibodaux, LA, in connection with a vehicle burglary and a related theft which occurred on or about August 24, 2020.

On the aforementioned date, detectives initiated an investigation of this incident which occurred near Jefferson Street in Napoleonville.

During the investigative process, Carlin Lewis was developed as a potential suspect.

On August 25, 2020, Carlin Lewis turned himself in to detectives and was later arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:

*Simple Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
*Felony Theft

Carlin Lewis was incarcerated and was later released after posting a $5,000 bond.
