SIMPLE BURGLARY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING
RENE STARKS, SR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rene Starks, Sr., 55, of 201 Arcement Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony burglary charges arising from an incident which occurred on May 8, 2025, at a residence in the 300 block of Jefferson Street in Napoleonville.
On May 9, 2025, deputies responded to a complaint of a residential burglary. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that in the early morning hours of May 8, 2025, an individual now identified as Rene Starks, Sr., entered the complainant’s home without permission. Once inside, the suspect allegedly stole $300 in cash and a cell phone. Rene Starks, Sr., then left the victim’s home.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies filed arrest warrants against Rene Starks, Sr.
On Saturday morning, Rene Starks, Sr. was arrested in the 100 block of Arcement Street in Napoleonville. Starks was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Theft
Rene Starks, Sr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
