SIMPLE BURGLARY- SIMPLE CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
DUCAN J. WIGGINS (ALIAS – DUNCAN J. WIGGINS)

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ducan J. Wiggins, 34, of 123 Louis Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on felony burglary and criminal damage charges arising from the burglary of a Labadieville business early Monday morning.

The deputy arrived on scene and made contact with the establishment’s owner. The complainant stated he had been notified by his alarm company of a possible burglary. The owner reviewed the video footage which provided some identity evidence.

The deputy began to patrol the area and observed a male subject fitting the description of the suspect mentioned.

The deputy detained the individual and seized a long metal bar in his possession. The deputy returned to the business at which time he observed the front door to be shattered.

Positive identification was made. At this time, the suspect, now identified as Ducan J. Wiggins was placed under arrest.

Ducan J. Wiggins was booked on charges of:

*Simple Burglary
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Criminal Trespass

Ducan J. Wiggins remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
