STOLEN AUTOMOBILE – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT
FREDERICK JOHN PARKER, JR.
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Frederick John Parker, Jr., 20, of 303 Garnet Street, Houma, LA, on felony charges arising from a stolen vehicle complaint originating in Terrebonne Parish.
Deputies were dispatched to an area of LA 308 near Labadieville in reference to a stolen vehicle which was being tracked. Deputies intercepted the stolen vehicle, but the driver engaged deputies into a pursuit situation. The pursuit continued on LA 308 to Spur 70 then onto LA 70 East. The vehicle crashed near Homerun Parkway and the driver fled on foot. After a brief pursuit, the driver now identified as Frederick John Parker, Jr. was arrested.
Frederick John Parker, Jr. was treated for complaints of injury, then booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Illegal Possession of Stolen Goods
*Resisting an Officer
*Possession of Marijuana
*Detainer – Terrebonne Parish
Frederick John Parker, Jr. remains incarcerated pending bond hearing.
