SUMMER CHEERLEADING CAMP

NAPOLEONVILLE – Members of Sheriff Leland Falcon’s staff were in attendance at Assumption High School for the conclusion of summer cheerleading camp.

The camp conducted by the Assumption High School Cheerleading Squad teaches youngsters core physical skills, game day routines, safety rules, and team leadership.

Attendees learned motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling, and sideline dance choreography.

“I appreciate the efforts of all these children and adults who participate in all summer programs. Not only do they transfer their skills to the youngsters as they progress through grade school, but it keeps children occupied during the summer months doing activities that are safe and secure,” Sheriff Falcon said.

As you can see, the cheerleading program was extremely well attended.
